Hey there! I'm Jess.

In case you haven’t caught on by now, I'm a little different than most wedding photographers. I have a lot of tattoos that I am very proud of and no they don’t have any cool stories to go with them.
I'm a small farm town, northern Michigan girl living in the big city. 
I’m addicted to buying clothes that I will literally never wear.
I have 4 beautiful daughters..One of the fluffiest and sweetest golden doodles ever named Oscar, an asshole cat named Binx, and the cutest tortoise you'll ever see and cuddle named Fred.
My house is in a constant state of Halloween- its a life style around here!
One of the coolest things about me is my last name growing up was Bacon. 
My music tastes are somewhere between No Doubt and Cardi B mixed with Mumford and Sons and EDM. What can I say, I’m a Gemini! 
I will take a White Claw over a craft beer any day. But Old Fashioned's are where it’s at for me. 
My favorite book is the Cheesecake Factory's menu.
I am one of the biggest introverted extroverts you will possibly ever meet.
My friends say I am a little ray of pitch black with a splash of color!
Traveling is my love langue- I am always in a new place every few weeks. Whether it be for work or for pleasure. 
The words I live my life by are “Whether you think you can or you can’t- you’re right”.













Why wedding photography?
My answer may be a little different than most other wedding photographers you have come across. 
I am not an overly romantic person lol I'm the person who buys her partner a gift and gives it to him in the same bag I got it from the store in (sometimes I will even remember to take off the tag!)!
My whole idea of romance can be summed up by the poem from "10 things I hate about you".
But, I love to be around people who are happy and having a good time!
I love the high intensity vibes of a wedding day. I love being in the action and calming the chaos. 
I love being able to stop time with my camera, freeze emotions in a picture and most of all give you back moments once they have passed.
