Recently, I had the honor of crashing a fellow photographers much coveted Saturday morning

and taking some pictures of her and her husband of 5 years!!!

(Congrats, you two!)

I adore sessions like this.

Not every couples session needs to be in a pretty field or under a tree with forced smiles.

They can be in the comfort of your own home.

In your pjs. Literally.

Since, “home is where the heart it”, why not have pictures taken there?

Document your love, where your hearts are happiest.

Where you are most comfortable and at ease.

Does your home have to be “perfect”? Not if you live in it!

Does it have to be “pretty”? Who defines that anyways? But, no. Just lived in with lots of love and laughter.

Does it have to be clean? Not at all!! (heck I don’t even know what “clean” is anymore!)

Erin met me at the door in her pajamas and said “Just so you know, I don’t allow anyone in my home unless they have two or more children! Because they just get it” and then she handed me a glass of champagne… PERFECTION!

No judgement, no pressure, no requirements. I get it. Honestly, I do.

Show me your real life. Not your spotless homes.

Show me your joy and affection. Not your frustration because someone won’t smile and look at the camera.

So, let’s pop some bottles or brew some coffee, stuff our faces,

get comfy and make some memories!!
