This past weekend I was able to participate in one of the most precious and special events in my life, I attended the birth of my niece.
I became an aunt for the first time <3
My little sister, Marissa, was so strong! I am so proud of her. I know its not easy but she had a great support system, the 3 older sisters and our mother (who has been a midwife for 25 years) all worked together like we have been doing this for years…..
(Ps- I have never seen another woman talking in straight movie quotes while in labor before my sister!)
It was magical to be there the second Sayla was born and see the way she instantly looked at my sister.
There’s no way to describe the peace that come over everyone when Sayla made her grand entrance. All we wanted to do was hug and kiss her and squeeze her the second we laid eyes on her.
As you can see, my niece is perfect and looks just like her beautiful mommy.
I cannot wait to watch her grow up and to watch my sister blossom into her new role as a mommy. I know you will do great, Riss. It just takes time and practice!
While in the hospital I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a new-newborn pics!!!
Here is part one of baby Sayla’s new born pics.
BEAUTIFUL!
Oh my!!!! These are amazing Jessica!!!!!!!!!
