Indian weddings are without a doubt one of the most beautiful, colorful, and exciting events to cover.
Most are spread out over 3-4 days, sometimes longer.
The colors. The food. The music. The dancing. The traditions.
I could go on and on.
This wedding was no exception.
I had to break this up into 2 blog posts because there was so much to show!
I simply love how traditions are embraced and passed down in this culture from generation to generation.
Even when I don’t know or understand what is going on- someone is always gracious enough to explain it to me.
Or trick me into eating spicy Indian food!!!
OMG the food is enough to write a whole blog post on by itself! It’s the BEST.
And this is coming from a girl who thinks most BBQ sauce is spicy.
Colors…. I get lost in them. Every where you look. So many bight, vibrant and stunning colors.
Including the bride!!! I LOVE that she can wear any color and has MANY outfit changes over the course of the celebration.
There is SO MUCH DANCING.
Every one dances. From the oldest to the youngest.
Its so much fun to just stand and watch and take it all in.
Even when I have all of my cameras and flashes on me, every one still tries to teach me how to join in.
And I try! hahaha. Which I am sure is a sight to see.
The family dynamics are incredible as well.
We are talking GENERATIONS from all over the globe come together for these beautiful weddings.
There is so much love and respect for all of the generations, too.
Lastly, did I mention the food and dancing?! lol
Take a look at Day 1 and Day 2.
Get lost in the colors and traditions like I did!
